A walk down the camera lens

Wedding season is here and although I am no where near getting married but I still love seeing all the weddings. So in honour of this season I thought I would share all my favourite wedding films as you know I do love a good film, but a wedding film I love even more!


1. Father of the Bride (1991) 
George and Nina Banks are parents of soon to be wed Annie Banks. George a nervous father, unready to let his little girl go and face that she is now a woman. Starring Steve Martin, Diane Keaton and Martin Short leads to hilarious wedding planning antics. 


2. The Wedding Date (2005) 

Single girl Kat hires a male escort to pose as her boyfriend for her younger sisters upcoming wedding. Her plan is to make her ex- fiancé who dumped her two years prior jealous. Starring Dermot Mulroney and Debra Messing. 


3. Runaway Bride (1999) 

Journalist is assigned to write a piece on a woman who has left a string of fiancés at the alter. Starring Richard Gere and Julia Roberts. 





4. Something Borrowed (2011) 

Friendships are tested and secrets are revealed as Rachel falls for Dex her bestfriend Darcy's Fiancé. Starring Kate Hudson, Ginnifer Goodwin and Colin Egglesfield. 




5. Wedding Crashers (2005) 

Lawyers John Beckwith and Jeremy Grey sneak into weddings to take advantage of the romantic twinge in the air until they fall for the bridesmaids and sisters  of a rich family's wedding they crash. Starring Vince Vaughn, Owen Wilson and Rachel McAdams.
