Happy 4th of July
Happy Independence Day!
I am not American but Happy 4th of July! Even though I'm not an American I still find 4th of July an exciting holiday (same goes with Thanksgiving) and although we don't celebrate the 4th of July here in the UK I still love the idea of the holiday and have wanted to celebrate it ever since I was a little girl. Hopefully I will get to celebrate it one year!

A walk down the camera lens
Wedding season is here and although I am no where near getting married but I still love seeing all the weddings. So in honour of this season I thought I would share all my favourite wedding films as you know I do love a good film, but a wedding film I love even more!
1. Father of the Bride (1991)
George and Nina Banks are parents of soon to be wed Annie Banks. George a nervous father, unready to let his little girl go and face that she is now a woman. Starring Steve Martin, Diane Keaton and Martin Short leads to hilarious wedding planning antics.
2. The Wedding Date (2005)
Single girl Kat hires a male escort to pose as her boyfriend for her younger sisters upcoming wedding. Her plan is to make her ex- fiancé who dumped her two years prior jealous. Starring Dermot Mulroney and Debra Messing.
3. Runaway Bride (1999)
Journalist is assigned to write a piece on a woman who has left a string of fiancés at the alter. Starring Richard Gere and Julia Roberts.
4. Something Borrowed (2011)
Friendships are tested and secrets are revealed as Rachel falls for Dex her bestfriend Darcy's Fiancé. Starring Kate Hudson, Ginnifer Goodwin and Colin Egglesfield.
5. Wedding Crashers (2005)
Lawyers John Beckwith and Jeremy Grey sneak into weddings to take advantage of the romantic twinge in the air until they fall for the bridesmaids and sisters of a rich family's wedding they crash. Starring Vince Vaughn, Owen Wilson and Rachel McAdams.

What to say and how to say it
When writing a blog post I normally have an idea in mind and have a brief post written out on my Notes app on my phone. This time not so much, I have just finished binge reading Boobs & Loubs by Morgan Stewart now if you are a fan of the E! show Rich Kids of Beverly Hills you will love this blog.
After reading Boob&Loubs it inspired me and it got me thinking, when I first started this blog I had this great idea of what I wanted to do. I planned to do a lot of style posts and just lifestyle posts, that plan hasn't exactly turned out as hoped. I seem to have done a lot more of reviews of Tv and Movies and a lot less style posts. Thats about to change -hopefully- over the past few weeks i have been contemplating changing the name of my blog but I'm struggling to think up a new name for the blog that represents me. I have also had the feeling that I need to put myself into the blog a bit more and be a bit less editorial speaking and a lot more real.
Keep and eye out for changes to the blog, and hopefully it will keep you coming back to read!

Friends
Friends a show based around six 20 something adults in New York as they deal with dating, break up, new jobs and career choices. Monica, Rachel, Phoebe, Chandler, Joey and Ross became fast house hold name and proved to be six friends that will always be there for you!
Born two years after the show first aired in September 1994, I have watched Friends for as long as I can remember. I grew up watching Friends, I remember every Friday night as new episode would air me and my mum would sit down and watch Friends. The one episode I vividly remember watching when I was young was Monica and Chandlers wedding episode and I would have been about 5 or 6 at the time.
With Friends it wasn't just a Tv show these characters became real friends who you would tune into watch their antics and laugh until you cried. For me I know every episode, and seen everyone a million times and can find a moment like Friends every day - or as Monica said to Chandler "If you know it through a wall you know it too well"- I still laugh at every episode and cry every time the camera pans Monica's empty apartment.
No other show of it genre will ever be as great as Friends, don't get me wrong there are many great shows out there but none will match the phenomena that is Friends. Ever since people have tried to create shows that will have a big audience, a show that will be known all over the world but there will never be a show like this.
Monica and Chandler, Rachel and Ross, Phoebe and Joey became characters that everyone saw themselves in, Ross taught us to embrace our inner nerd, Phoebe thought us that its okay to be a little crazy, Monica thought us its okay to control aspects of our life, Joey thought us its okay to show our sensitive sides, Chandler proved that its okay to laugh at our selves and Rachel proved that its okay to be a little materialistic. A show that will it still timeless 20 years after it first aired and one that will never go out of style, Friends will always be there for you!
