Every Christmas we would watch Miracle on 34th Street and see Santa Claus come to life on screen because of Richard Attenborough, truly one of my favourite Christmas Films, you will be missed.
This months photos aren't as great as I would have liked but they will do as I can't get any better light as it is so dull outside.. My Obsession with Zara continues to grow as I've found so many great items from Zara this month.

A New York Winter's Tale- Amazon
A little late week update for you all. I have been really bad at doing my Sunday Top 5 posts as I have been working most Sundays lately, so I thought I would do a little post of weekly highlights and a few things I have been loving this week.
On Tuesday I started college again which I am super excited for. I am going to be studying Creative Industries - Communication with Media, so it includes Journalism, PR, Advertising which i can't wait to start.
Another thing I have been loving this week is how Comedy Central has been airing Friends from the beginning in celebration of their 20th anniversary! I have especially loved the advert featuring MKTO's song Classic, I'm a little bit obsessed with this advert!
I was so excited when I read this article on E! Online. The Warner Bros Tv is teaming up with Eight O'clock coffee to open up a Central Perk pop up shop in New York. The pop up shop will be running from September 17th to October 18th. The shop will feature more than just coffee it will also include props and decor from the show! Any luck fans that will be in New York during this time will get a chance to visit the pop up store! Luckily we will be in New York in october so as a big friends fan I can't wait to see the store!
On that note the countdown to or New York trip is on!
Today I got my hair down you can see images on Instagram - @aimee_carmichael of my hair before and now but its finally the colour I wanted not that I didn't love being a blonde I do love my brunette hair!!
I love award shows featuring all our favourite stars honouring them on their incredible talents and TV shows or films. Living in the UK we don't get to see the Emmy's live on the night like they do in America but last night I got super excited when I turned on my TV to see that it had just started on Sky Living!! I also love how the E! network hosts a live from the Red Carpet pre show so we get a chance to see out favourite stars as they walk the Red Carpets or get to hear a quick interview with the stars! I esspically love seeing the Red Carpet fashion so here is a few of my favourites from the night.
My favourite dress of the night was Sarah Hyland who looked gorgeous in Christian Siriano
Another favourite of mine was Julia Roberts in Elie Saab Couture.
Although there was plenty of beautiful dresses we have to talk about how handsome the men of the emmy's looked, Including Matt Bomer in Tom Ford - he could wear a bin bag and still look sexy - Matthew McConaughey in Dolce &Gabbana and Jon Hamm also in Tom Ford..
A few of my other favourites of the night where, Kaley Cuoco- Sweeting in Monique Lhuillier, Cat Deely in Burberry, Anna Gunn in Jenny Packham..
Summer is swiftly coming to an end but there is still plenty of time to pick up some great summer reads - or for all year round really- this summer I've been in saving mode so I opted to re-read some of the books I already have.
I love reading book series but I always get disappointed when the series ends because you get so invested in these characters lives that you just want to carry on reading. This summer my favourites have been...
1. About a Girl and What a Girl wants.
About a Girl and What a Girl Wants written by Lindsey Kelk author of The I Heart Series. About a Girl is the first of the two about Tess who loses her job then sleeps with the love of her life and when that all goes wrong she is forced to reconsider. After answering her flatmates phone she finds herself on a flight to Hawaii pretending to be her flat mate which leads to trouble in paradise for Tess, but then she does have a sexy journalist who makes it very clear he'd like to get into her pants to make things better.
What a girl wants is the second of the two and came out this past July this time Tess is off to Milan but this time as herself - You'll have to read the first one to understand- and this time she is also has to choses between the life she's always dreamed of and the one she never expected to have while she choses between the man of her dreams..
2. Crossfire Series
Crossfire series written by Sylvia Day is a series of sexy novels that I have been loving this summer. I have read them before but Eva and Gideon's story is so addicting yet sexy that I couldn't wait to read them again. The Crossfire series is similar to the Fifty Shades of Grey series but in my opinion better. Gideon a rich business mogul with demons - and sexy as hell- and Eva a girl trying to deal with her own demons together become the mirrors that reflect each others most private wounds.. leading to a book filled with desires, heartbreak and how they save each other. The Crossfire series has been one of my favourite book series this year!
I would love to know what some of your summer reads have been or just any book series you love in general....
A couple of months ago I read a blog post on the age old question - If you could have dinner with 5 people dead or alive who would it be?- Well after careful consideration I think I have decided.
I've chopped and changed my mind of who I will have at my dinner (wouldn't it be fun if you could actually have this dinner) I have finally chosen my top five.. Maybe I should do a ross from friends and get it laminated...
This quote means a lot to me because I have now realised what I really want to do and I sometimes feel whenever I tell someone that my dream is too work in America working in either film or television or in Broadcast Journalism. But when I tell people that I either get put down or get bombarded with reasons and facts of why I can't do it but really if you work at it you can achieve anything you dream of.
I've been so busy working this weekend that I haven't had time to do my saturday Instagram Diary so now that it's Monday (late again I know) I will finally get this posted and after not posting any snaps last week I am well overdue a Instagram blog post.
Safe to say this month I have went into saving mode and managed to not spend too much as I am beginning to save up for our trip to New York in October. I did however pick up another pair of Zara jeans - I'm obsessed- and I picked up a few Pyjamas from Forever 21, I also managed to pick up a few more items for my desk from PaperChase - who could resist the cute New York Sticky Notes.
